1. Booking confirmation

A booking is confirmed only when you receive a WhatsApp confirmation message from Mauritius Airport Transfers containing the date, time, pickup/drop-off locations, vehicle type and fixed price. Verbal or informal enquiries do not constitute a confirmed booking.

2. Prices and payment

All prices quoted are per vehicle, one way, unless otherwise stated. Payment is made in cash to the driver at the end of the transfer. We accept Mauritian Rupees (MUR), Euros (EUR) and US Dollars (USD) unless another method is agreed in advance.

3. Cancellation and changes

Cancellations are free up to 2 hours before the scheduled pickup time. Changes to flight numbers, pickup times or destinations should be communicated as soon as possible via WhatsApp. Last-minute changes may affect availability or price.

4. Waiting time and flight delays

For airport arrivals, one hour of complimentary waiting time is included after the actual landing time. We track flights when a flight number is provided. Delays beyond one hour may incur a waiting surcharge agreed in advance.

5. Luggage and passenger capacity

Each vehicle has a stated passenger and luggage capacity. Extra luggage, sports equipment or oversized items must be disclosed at booking to ensure the correct vehicle is assigned.

6. Child seats

Child and booster seats are provided free of charge when requested at booking. The age and approximate weight of each child should be provided so we can supply the correct seat.

7. Liability

Mauritius Airport Transfers operates as a booking agent for licensed independent drivers. While we select drivers carefully, Mauritius Airport Transfers is not liable for delays caused by traffic, weather, flight diversions or other events outside our reasonable control.
